Does anyone know if you can sample and chop directly to the keys like you could on the older workstations like the Triton, the The ASR10 or EPS16? I don't want to used the pads on the MPC Key61? - Thanks

Hey Wuddup.

I have an ASR-10 (haven't used it in a long while but I remember sample assigning when chopping) and an MPC Keys61.

No, it's the same sample assign as Live, Live2, One, X.
Keys is 61 keys so you 'could' assign samples to a note number < C2 or > C8 in order to separate pads and/or keys.
