You'd have to select "Project Preview" and select what format (MP3, WAV, etc) when saving your project

No limitations in stand alone if you set up the desired duration in the "/media/az01-internal/Setting/MPC/MPC.settings" file. By default, it is set to "30", in seconds.
I set it up to 5400, 1h30. You'll need to ssh access for this.
Search for: <VALUE name="SampleFileAuditionAutoPlayLength" val="5400"/>
It is perfect for me when I'm on moving from hotels to hotels for my job with my LIVE2 as a single piece of gear. Just to listen to some music.... I requested this feature a long time ago.
By the way, it's a pity that there is no UI access to set it up without the need of SSHing the beast..

EDIT: It seems that you can also edit another record duration limit in "<VALUE name="AudioRecorder.duration" val="20.0"/>", Min or Sec? But it does not seem to concern Audio track as I read somewhere here that the Audio Track limit is 5 min. Or clips? Or Looper? Have to test as I never used any of these features.

That is the sampler duration! set it to 3600 and you will get 1 hour of sample time. Yes it can record for an hour straight or more.

It works better when the project is empty, once you start filling the ram the sampler will complain "not enough memory left for 60 mins of record time" or something of the like, but if you open an empty project you can easily capture 60 min straight.

Great info! Thanks. That opens to me some fascinating possibilities. At least in the way I'm using the MPC.
But once again, why the hell these settings are not accessible to the user in the UI as the MPC can do it. Most of us just want to play music, and not editing settings files!

I'm happy now :-D

Dude. I know this is old AF. But maybe someone is looking for this too. The limited audition time always annoyed me. Never found a solution. Randomly thought about searching for it again just in case.

THANK YOU. IT WORKS.
