2.11.7 is out now...

Just to be clear, has anyone confirmed that you can now play the same midi note simultaneously, and when you release one note it doesn’t release all the others?

What did you set the USB "Configuration" on the "Card" Settings page to? Do you utilise 32x32 I/O or did you set it to something different?

Took a chance:

The 2.11 bug is fixed e.g. I can play an A2 on one track using the MPC pads and an A2 on another track using an external synth at the same time. And they've fixed the note off bug!!!!!!!!

To clarify, this is exactly what I wanted to do but could not between 2.10.X and 2.11.6:

Connect MPK Mini, Neutron and Argon8 to MPC.
Have two midi tracks, one on Midi channel 1, the other on midi channel 2, with each keyboard set to 1 and 2 as appropriate.
Play an A2 on BOTH keyboards at the same time, have both the Argon8 and the Neutron play the same note at the same time (2.11 stopped this)
When I release a key on one keyboard that note stops plying but the other synth keeps playing (2.10 broke this).

Now that whole situation works.

Stupid Track Mute bug with Tracks routed to the same Drum Kit exists...

Just loaded up a drum kit, made a kick/snare/hat track on two different tracks. You cannot Track Mute one of the tracks and have the other track sound correct, it's still chocking the sample playback *sigh*

Re trackmuting, I do this all the time. Are you doing something unusual like cross muting some of the instruments? Or are you muting the program instead of the track?

Same Issue as this video I posted for 2.10...

Oh I may be an idiot... I thought that my MPC took the 2.11.7 update, but I just checked and it still says 2.11.6... will try again and report back in a bit.

EDIT: Confirmed... even with 2.11.7 you still get this Track Mute issue :/

I have been trying to update my MPC One from 2.11.6 via online update to 2.11.7 for two days runing now, but receive the message "You are running the latest version of MPC."

Has anyone had the same issue or has an idea, what the problem might be?

You have to download the installer from Akai.

Where is the DL link for the update? i don't know where to look on the akaipro site. on my InMusic account, it asks me to buy mpc2 but i already have it, right now i'm on 2.11.6. I'm using the Renaissance which is registered with InMusic. I'm using Windows 10. i bought my mpc 2 license key second hand, but it is in my ilok account.

edit:
i found this post through google and replied without noticing the sub forum. Is this update not available for the desktop software, and only for the hardware?

You need to register your MPC in your account, and all available content (including an MPC2 Software license and all firmware, additional Expansions, etc) will appear in your account.

If you bought the iLok license second hand you're out of luck. There is no way to register that with your account, so the download is never going to show up. Go download the demo from any one of the pages on their website instead. That's the only way you'll be able to get it.
