Is there a way of exporting midi events from a sequence in a format that I can just drag into an Ableton file? I know how to save as an Ableton sequence but I was looking for something more modular.

Doesn't the option 'export as midi' do just this? Not a function I've used so maybe not.

Thanks guys. Yeah that’s the Ableton export I normally use. But it saves out an entire Ableton file. I was just wondering if there’s a way to just export out the events from one track in something that can just be dropped into an Ableton track.

Actually it looks like you can do it from MPC software so I’ll try that.
