Chop/Slice mode's equivalent to "Extract New Samples"

Hi,
What's Chop/Slice mode's equivalent to the "Extract New Samples" feature in the software?
I'm not finding the controls for it. Even in controller mode (which I've just discovered to be superb, in use with the desktop software) doesn't seem to have the equivalent controls on the Live II.

Not sure I understand your question? Could you explain it in a different way? chop/slice mode has a number of options, but 'extract new samples' is the only group that will actually create new individual samples, all other options are non-destructive.

In the chop mode of the sample edit screen, press shift > Convert > "New program with new samples".

@Laserbeak43 - I think what is tripping things up is that your question seems to insinuate that the workflow is different between the software and standalone mode. While the interface may look different, the process is the same. If you switch to controller mode you can watch the interface elements operate in the software and check this out for yourself.

I chose "New drum program using slices/Non-destructive/Create events"

The visual differences between desktop and stand-alone can be deceptive... on one hand, it's served as a great guide to familiarizing myself with things, when I'm not reading the bible, but on the other, some things are (at least in my observations) worded differently and definitely tripped me up.
