Unless Akai's support page is incorrect, the MPC Key should work fine with Ventura:

https://support.akaipro.com/en/support/ ... patibility

Try performing a complete uninstall of the MPC Software, including drivers. Reboot and then re-install 2.11.5 or 2.11.6.

Uninstaller is found in Library > Application Support > Akai > MPC > Uninstall MPC

The uninstaller leaves preferences and activation unchanged.

So controller mode was working fine with 2.11.7 on both machines? It might be that the standalone update has updated some low level hardware functionality on the MPC Key, might require 2.11.7 moving forward. Or you simply have a corrupt hardware driver, and the fresh install should fix it. Or Akai's Ventura support page is incorrect.
