How to save a preview and pattern with a Drum Program save

When I use the MPC Browser and browse for drum programs in /Expansions/TheVault I can audition the drum program with a beat that uses the drums in that drum program.

I have noticed there is also a corresponding mpcpatterm that I can load so I have the drum pattern used in the audition on my track.

I am assuming the preview of each drum program plays the correspondingly named pattern.

i) How do I save a drum program preview/audition with my own drum programs so I can also audition it?

ii) Can I make my drum preview/audition play my own corresponding pattern?

iii) Is there a way to load both a drum program in /Expansions/TheVault and the corresponding pattern onto a track at the same time?

To preview a Drum Program, place a wav file named "YourProgramName.xpm.wav" in the [Previews] folder. Probably you can't use patterns for previewing.

Yes, works for patterns as well, and any other file type, e.g. SQX, XPL, XPM, XPJ etc. Name the preview to match the file name plus file extension, i.e.

your-pattern.mpcpattern.wav

Stick it in a folder called [Previews], you'll have to create this on your computer though, via USB.
