Sometimes, random midi notes are stuck to my grid in both the Standalone mode & the controller mode in the MPC software. Deleting those notes or making any edits via the list editor appears to have no effect.
Any workarounds?

Maybe you have a "hidden" second track playing the same program ? A copy track or events that went on the wrong destination ?
Are you standalone or controller mode ?

other way to get rid ot that kind of bizzare bug, is to reset preferences after updating... It's not very long to input your settings back, and can fix some weiridies

If note enough, good luck for solutionning looks like faulty or corrupted firmware on your MPC standalone

HiH ( hope it helps)

Have come across the same issue on a few occasions.

Last night I played in 8 bars of hats. Deleted all but two bars and copied them.

When I selected the row and deleted them all but the original were deleted. Tried a few times without success.

Went into list editor and deleted them there. The notes were still visible within grid but not in list.

Hey I came across this problem myself and maybe you already found a solution. But for me what worked was changing the program (from one plugin to another) of the track, deleting the midi notes and changing the program back to the original. Hope this helps others who came across this problem as well.
