Hi all,
I have a MPC live and want to clock my analogue solutions impulse command in a specific way.
The IC can be clocked when it receives MIDI Note 000.
MIDI Note 000 is the first and lowest note used by MIDI. Nicely out of the way and it wont produce a sound. Note value is C-3 (for most DAWs at least).
Sending MIDI Note 1 (C#-3) will reset the IC's sequencer.
I was testing this from the MPC but the lowest note is C-2.
The issue is that C-2 still triggers a sound so it's not a MIDI Note 000 and I cant use it just to clock the IC. (as it triggers a sound which I don't want .)
The weird thing is that the reset MIDI Note 1 ( C#-2) does work.
It resets the IC's sequencer and doesn't produce a sound.
So the question is, what is the MIDI Note 000 on the MPC live?
cheers
