for what I expect the price of the MPC XL to be... you could get used a MPC Live mk2 and a Force... essentially having 4gb of memory, twice the audio tracks, twice the amount of plugins you can load, and all the fun stuff that the Force gets you like 64 pad fun, arranger mode, etc...

Until the announcement drops with some interesting new key features, I guess I'm just not seeing it...

I see a lot of criticism on people's reactions, but like... which people? I haven't seen a comment or a post on YT, FB, or here where people are claiming this is going to be make them a better producer, or that this is the greatest thing ever. Generally, the reaction has been pretty chill. Where are all these people we are supposed to be making fun of for being overly excited?

Well it's a nice addition if the MPC 3.0 software give us a little extra and or the have a beefer audio card built-in allow 16 stereo or 32 mono output in standalone.. I do like the color it reminds me of my 3000.. I'm waiting like all to hear what's what ... we can all speculate but we don't know yet

I’m just laughing at the people who refuse to believe this is real It’s so disappointing that they think it’s a deep fake or some sort of distraction from Akai for when they drop the real XL

I'll be happy for it to be real... may mean another 3+ years of support for the MPC Live/X/One... if it's just more memory and not a new CPU, most everything will work on the older MPCs, and I'll be happy to get 10 years out of my current MPC.
