MPC One - Project has gone silent

Hello!

My entire midi project in my MPC One has gone silent. Other projects are opening and playing like normal so it’s not an issue with the outputs.

The samples are still loaded on the pads but when I press the pads no sound comes out. The pads are outlined in yellow. I can hear the samples when I play them from the “sample pool” but once they go on the pads, they go silent. The tracks are not muted or solo’d, and the meter is reading audio levels when I hit play. All the midi notes are showing up in the # mode, yet no sound comes out!

I tried re-loading the samples onto the pads but no luck. I don’t have many effects on the tracks but I tried turning those off as well. There is no automation either.

Still relatively new to MPC’s so I am quite perplexed but also feel like it might be a dumb thing I can’t see. Send help!

Also, make sure they‘re routed to Outs 1/2 (as in Lamp‘s picture).

I had a project recently which did this - not quite as you describe but very similar - and traced it to the vocal harmoniser plug-in which had been inserted on one pad. When I removed that the project miraculously sounded out again. Probably not your issue but just in case…

I have similar issues on very beefy projects. Reloading the project solves the silentness in my case.

Seams like this thread is dead now but can fill out from my own experience since I got similar issues.

One project was only playing audio through the left master output. Other projects were fine. Re-loaded the project and then it was all quiet. After fiddling around it was in this case a flanger effect that was automatically loaded onto a keygroup program. Toggling this flanger on/off made the whole project mute and unmute. Not sure why this happens, but it could be well worth inactivating effects on pads/programs/etc and see if this helps (as for help to the next sorry dude or dudette finding this thread)
