Is there a way to set defaults for MIDI Control mode? (LIVE)

Hi.

I want to have it so the note assignments to the pads are set to my own settings by default. I know how to go into midi control mode to assign them, but is there any way to just have those be defaults and not have to save it to a project that I have to load every time? It only mentions saving as a project in the manual. If not, is there a way to set it as a preset of something that I can pull into a project somehow when I need it?

You could save it to an empty project and make that your standard template, so any time you open a new project you‘re good to go.

I think I'll do that. Is there a way to set it up as default? It seems I always have to go and load it. Thanks.
