'zup!
My slider doesn't run as smooth as I'd like it to... is it supposed to be like that or is this something wrong? I'm trying to use it for hi-hat decay, but i'ts way to "stiff" for that.
Anybody else with an 3000le experienced this problem?

By the way, what do you guys use the slider for?

Peace

I use the slider for all types of ish on my 60...lately for drum rolls (thanks elmac) but usually I'll throw a piano stab in and freak the slider so I can get more "sounds" out of it

How do you use the slider for drum rolls? I missed that.

changing velocity or pitch of your sample while you roll.

There is some stuff called CAILube or KAIlube, you put a bit of that into the slider and work it back and forth, works wonders.

Oh.. I live in sweden and I'm not shure I can find it here, but I'm on it!
Is it like silicone spray or something?

When u use the slider on rolls, do you do it in "after" mode?

Thanx alot for the help! (Man I like this forum!)

(It would be nice to here what other things u guys do with the slider! I think it's a really creative tool!!)

PEACE!

Sometimes with after, sometimes while I roll or sequence stuff.

what's after used for?

By elmacaco Wed Feb 09, 2005 4:35 pm
to use the slider on already sequenced notes.

yeah you can do it durring playback and it won't alter the sequence until you press overdub and get the settings saved in the sequence.
