Can MPC Software export patched phrases?

Can MPC Software somehow export patched phrases? I'd like to use some from it in my MPC 500 but whenever I create a patched phrase and then click "save" in the sample field box, I think it just saves it as a regular wav sample, because when I transfer it to my MPC 500, it does not allow tempo adjustments.

I don’t think the latest patch phrase format is backward compatible with legacy mpcs

Thanks for that, I thought that might be the case. Do you know if there's any other software that allows you to create patched phrases in the old MPC 1000/2500 format? (without needing to use one of those machines)
