Loop work around?

I have a loop right. Ive set it up to loop in the 'trim' section but it will only let me use note off. Is there any way around this so I can just tap the button once and let the loop ride out?

I am co9nfused with use note off.... but

I know with loops You generally would like to make sure it is a prefect loop by using the "trim" to get the start point of where u want it to start and from there select the loop buttin and then " fit " and now all the alterations would be made to the end of the sample so where it ends perfectly... when doing this make sure you have loop mode on so that u can hold down the pad and hear it .. when u have a perfect loop... I would take loop mode off..

so that you have the pad hit on 001.001.00
and from there adjust the tempo to the point where the tempo coincides with the loop... You would have to make sure your loop is good though.. counting with a metroinome in your mind...

You might find out that when u have thje tempo and loop matched exactly that the sound is either too slow or too fast...

then you should go into program mode and parameters for that pad with your loop on it and adjust the tune to speed it up or slow it down.

you would then have to readjust the tempo when back at the main screen

thanks for the advice but I'm actually trying to do something a bit different. I want the sound to loop without having to hold down the pad because I want to use it in a live situation...

yes sir.. make sure your start and end points are correct though, just loop on to get the bpms then turn it off and mono it
