It's very odd to me that they aren't there. Since the launch of MPC live and X, they have not miss a NAMM unless NAMM was canceled. Making me worry we'll have to wait longer for 3.0 and MPC XL. I have $2500 aside ready to get one as soon as it is announced.

Don't be so shocked -- Roland and Korg will also not be there, and they've ALWAYS been at NAMM since the start, with very very big booths at that. Roland will only be "accepting business meetings"

I believe back when the X was announced it was around April and shipped late summer I got mines that August... they might just do a YouTube promo...

Korg is there as well, but like Roland, they're only going for meetings, they wont be on the floor displaying this year.

Relax folks, NAMM has been cancelled for a couple years now, so its off to a slow restart. Everything will be back next January in its usual place and time.

^This right here. The pandemic caused major disruptions to the show for years, but they're getting back into the groove of things. I wouldn't be too worried about who does and does not come, but rather pay attention to the gear that's announced (whether live at NAMM or digital through websites/the media).

Further: Vicon, Presonus, Behringer and BOSE will also NOT be there, and Presonus has also been a NAMM staple from way back when.

People pay to get in?? You guys need to make some industry friends quick. Been there a bunch of times over the years (live 30-40 minutes away depending on traffic), never once had to pay.

I didn't know if it was free to get in or if you had to pay... hopefully akai streams something to get us through the summer

I have heard from a couple of sources that Akai Pro and/or InMusic are not presenting at NAMM this year. Of course they could surprise us, but I don't believe they have any plans.

Well if nothing mentioned tomorrow then I wouldn't expect anything on Thursday.. oh well .. back to making music

yup is tomorrow is make or break if no annouce maybe they might wait till after namm to announce but i aint holding breath
