adding to our thriller..

thoman.de shows MPC-X as out of stock.
BUT, it says they will be back in 10 to 13 weeks (!)

So, either they will just keep selling gen1 side by side with gen2 or that aint good news for those who want new hardware.

Shouldn't interfere with the possible release of a firmware update obviously, and that is what im most interested and curious about.

I can make room for the XL on if it had audio over USB in standalone..if not then my X is just fine..thin about if the leaks are correct it was from 2020 its only a few years older then the X so nothing really worth the upgrade.. they should sell the upgrade board for the X owners..

not really unique but the new iteration of polyend tracker looks interesting, its smaller, battery powered but with more cpu\ram and more features. might be a cool addition to an mpc if you are old enough to have messed with trackers or if you never used one but want to add a completely different way of making music.
(trackers look super nerdy but when you know your way around'em they can be super fast to write music in, and very inspiring too, especially for sample reproduction\mangling. example: i used to chop breaks on trackers by just playing the entire loop and retriggering it from different start points in a sequence, then mess with pitch bend and other sh1t.)

Super shocked they didn’t announce anything

The writing was on the wall when they released the beat club live and how they are shoving it down their customers throats. Feel bad for the people who got duped into buying that. But hey, if it helps fund actual new gear and updates I guess it’s all good

I'm hitting 5-0 this year.. Yeah the Polyend Tracker/Mini looks really nice,
but as an Amiga user since 1989 I have a lot of machines, several A500, A600, A1200
and other newly produced boards. And it's all 8bit Paula sound.

So if you own an Amiga... Protracker 2.3F for Amiga was released last month - https://16-bits.org/other.php

If you want to DJ Protracker mods with 2 Amigas - https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=63039
