Some symbols are inactive on mpc

I have been ignoring this issue for quite some time since I bought the drum machine, when naming things inside MPC one only letters,numbers, hash and dash are active the rest of the symbols are not. I have never been able to use the symbols. What should I do to fix it? Thanks

File names can’t use special symbols. Those characters are there in the keyboard so you can enter Wi-Fi passwords

I thought it was a bug or something. Thanks
