wtf is with "you people" look.. your midi and audio can be expanded with an interface!!! not only that, you can daisy chain your midi gear. lol.. do you guys not know how midi chains work? I know you *DO* you're just not thinking.
Every worthy midi device known to man (basically other than the mpc lol) has 3 ports. in/out/thru... you use the thru port on your 2nd device to chain the 3rd. now i realise that you may loose some latency in doing so but its common practice. A midi beakout box is like $100 for 16:2.
Audio ins and outs and midi ports are expandable, they arent a point of interest to anyone who knows things about setting up a studio. Most of us already have that stuff and can just plug it in.
The diff between the X user and the Live or One user is this. The X user idolizes the mpc, its their primary device probably where music starts and ends for them. but to the rest of us. the mpc is just one module in an array of items... our studios are bigger than 1 sampler a phono pre-amp and a shitty turntable.
