MPC-Tutor wrote:B-Wise wrote:) why are on this "fake" MPC page?
Dj khayos is the original mpc forum guru, ran the first mpc forum from over 20 years ago, where I first started learning about the mpc . No one would be here without his forum
That makes what you said even worse & doesn't address my first point that you didn't quote: "So are you telling us that all of the beats, joy & music experience people had with MPCs other than the 3k was just their imagination?"
The last "real" MPC & all the reasons you gave is subject. Like the 3k having a sound of it own being a plus. The subjective reason why I liked the MPC1k/2500 was because as my main sampler it's sound was to me transparent, so what you put in is what you got out, then & if I wanted I could run the samples through another sampler that had character like my ASR-10 or SP-505 then back into the 1k/2500 without adding more character on top because it is transparent. So the 3k sound wasn't a plus for me (subjective).
Also I had like maybe 2 crashes on them so I wouldn't label them as unreliable but YMMV.
I also never felt like the 2500 felt unprofessional. The 1k with the messed pad is another story
But once solved & with JJOS I pick it over the 3k but that's subjective.
If this forum wasn't here we would be somewhere else. The internet is a big place. Your past contributions should be respected, but that doesn't give you a pass to project your subjective options as fact & not get any push back or expect anybody to kiss your ass. Sorry, maybe because I from Harlem NYC & we can be argumentative, I don't play that you know who I am Shi*, but that's subjective.
