Tbh I expected this all to be fake. Especially when no FCC filing would appear. Especially with the 35. bday of the MPC and imho even more important 50 years of HipHop I did think InMusic would do a bit better here.

Heh, I appreciate that. I love this mixture of robotic beats with a sci-fi/dystopia twist. And yeah unfortunately we might be a minority here but I think Electro is a huge part of HipHop nonetheless. Even though Kraftwerk are one of those praised for the initial spark the main style was created by the HipHop scene of the 70s and especially early 80s as a mixture of hip-hop, funk and NY boogie plus synth-pop influences like Gary Numan or Human League and such. With Africa Bambaataa or Warp 9 being the most famous producers of the early days imho. Later you have Run DMC, Dave Clarke, Aux 88 or Arthur Baker to just name a few.
I also like how this is a style of music that cannot be said to be either solely a black or white culture thing but it's an amalgamation of both cultures that influenced each other. Wish it'd be like this more often.
