So...I guess it is 48GB of Internal Storage. The only plus...is that All the Plug-ins are inside of it. Question now is...

Doesn't look like it has all the plugins, just the same ones as the MPC Key. Mini-D and Flavor not mentioned.

The "Retros" are just Skin. "Special Edition" is somethin different

A "Special Edition" LIVE/ONE would make Financial Sense for Akai. The MPC X SE doesn't make sense either but it generates more Revenue for AKAI

That's not the XL, it's a limited edition X. The XL or whatever it'll be called will be a whole another beast. This IMO is just for rich people that likes status symbols & isn't meant for everyone, which is why it's a limited edition.

I wonder if there just gonna let this one ride it out or bring out an XL in the near future. The fact that Akai drops to many "Editions" makes me not want to buy this one. I dig it, but also no ethernet is just wild. If it had an ethernet and hdmi-out then I would consider it but since I've had a X for 4 years and havent run out of ram and also dont use plug-ins really, not sure this is for me. Looks nice though! I like they have added what looks like better support on the backside of the screen. They still had to add that kickstand though...
