Did you try resizing the sample wave in sample/track edit or the grid/clip editor via touch screen? It's way smoother.
Pads In different banks, don't cut each other off while the pad sample is on note on mode. I hated that shit. Now it fix. Those 2 things was great for me maybe not for you.

I'm not knocking those - those are great points. They just sort of go under the heading of bugfixes.
And, as I said above, I'm OK with that. Improving software quality is a good thing.
