Copy the physical sample.
Use different physical copies in different sequences.

In mpc’s there has always been that issue of using the same physical sample in several diff programs and when you change the sample it changes everywhere.

You can however make non-destructive copies, but for full no holds barred control I’d just make another physical copy, not like in the old days there’s plenty of ram these days (as long as you don’t treat mpc’s like it’s a dedicated time-based recorder).

You could use pad parameters instead, but you‘ll get full mangling and destructive editing (like normalizing etc.) for sample copies only.
I‘ll side with Lampdog on this one. although it‘s not very RAM-effective, it is the method with full control.
