Cant play multiple notes at the same time

Hi there

For som reason, when for an example i slice a drum beat, i can only play one note at a time.i want to be able to play two, three, four notes at the same time, but i got something switched on that make my MPC not able to play several notes. What do i do to be able to have my hihat and snare play at once?

I have an MPC Live II

PROGRAM EDIT > MASTER. Set POLY to 'Poly', not Mono.

Akai changed all instances of the word 'MASTER' a few months ago. Now we have program edit > 'global', a 'buss' compressor and the 'main' output channel.
