Quickest way to jump to next bar while looping in sequence?

On other grooveboxes, I've found a shortcut key to immediately jump to the next bars in a sequence while looping in that sequence. Can I do that in MPC?

To explain:
- Let's say I'm using the Grid to loop bars 1 & 2 on Sequence 1
- Now I want to jump to bar 2 & 3 as my loop selection, staying on Sequence 1, and
- Ideally, I could jump left or right immediately with my loop selection

I know I can change the start and end bars from the Main view. Or I could break things up into separate sequences and immediately jump around. But it's be nice to do this immediately with 1 or 2 bar loop selections while staying on a sequence.

i think that's impossible.
if you need it for production, that's bad news. if instead you are looking for a way to spice up things in a live situation, getting more from a single sequence, i have this workaround: record your beat on track 1, bass on track 2, synth\chords whatever or track 3. then on track 4 you point to the same drum program as track 1 and record a slightly (or very) different drum beat. track 5 you do the same for the bass, track 6 for chords\synths\whatever. now you can play on the track mute window, muting and unmuting different patterns for your instruments inside a single sequence. very very effective for live performances, where you want to insert a drum fill or a bass variation here and there, in fact changing the sequence of single instruments independent of the others, without actually changing your real Sequence. hope this makes sense. but if insted you need it for production , to quickly jump from, say, verse to chorus in a long (song) sequence, then no, not possible.

What other grooveboxes?

Might be a workaround, if we know the machine you usually do this on.

even the EMU command stations had this jump to next pattern with a customization rate (after button press, after 1 beat, after 1 bar, after pattern end)
and i believe MPC 4000 has it too

On the OP1 you can set up a loop of a bar or two in "Tape" mode. While it's playing, IIRC, you hit Shift with left or right arrow to jump the loop selection to the left or right. After the current loop completed, it would start looping in the new spot. I'm pretty sure you could press the arrow multiple times to jump even further.

Last night I found the closest I could get to this is with copies of short Sequences. And then to copy bars together into another Sequence to assemble the pieces. Not a terrible workflow, but not ideal.
