Do you mean with the MPC2 software?

I never really use the MPC software because it seems so clunky to me, plus the MPC architecture doesn't map across neatly (I think you have to drop the (SSL) plugins onto programs rather than tracks, don't you?) but I just had a quick go and yeah, it sort of works, but:

- no track/program names pulled through (it needs VST3 for that and I'm not sure it's supported?)
- no track/program follow (so the UC1 won't switch to whatever track you select on the software; you can scroll through on the UC1 itself, but without names that's a bit confusing unless you know exactly what program is on what number)

If VST3 can be used with the MPC software (and mine's just not properly set up), and you have the names pulled through, then it could work OK I think.

Let me know we are being TOYED with by Roland(MV8000/VariOS) and InMusic.

Just for that and gaining this new knowledge I'm getting the SSL because they made the mistake of charging only 3K for the SAME sound of their consoles used the most by MY music genre.

I will get some mixing classes too.

Thanks InMusic. I will take it from here!

Yo Ray you will love the super analogue sound of SSL. I highly recommend just messing with the volume faders to get familiar with how each track works with each other. You will have the « ah-ha » moment when processing your sounds through it. I have the SSL X desk and can get a lot of depth with faders alone. Once you grasp that you can mess with the EQs.

Now I want an SSL Big six too.

I watched the video where the guy said keep your faders at "0" so when you bring the song up again all you will have to remember("ghetto" Total Recall) will be Compressor/EQ duties.

But I'm with you. I will take a snapshot with the iPhone/iPad Pro after every adjustment lol
