In MPC "controller mode" is much more usefull than only audio streaming (midi, audio, midi remote) I use cubase too for mixing and add some plugins for orchestral and synths . I started a midi remote for Mpc X must work with SE too.

With your Mpc standalone you can configure the 32 io on the internal soundcard and your project will work on standalone and controller mode.
