Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I´m using my MPC 2kXL for bout 3 years now but never found out how to transmit the tuning done by the 16 Lvl Function to my PC Sequencer.
I´m using Steinberg Cubase SE as Sequencer on my Computer, my MPC is connected via MIDI-Interface. Sync is done via Midi Clock, PC is master, MPC slave. Recording a sequence from MPC to PC is no problem, as long as 16 levels was not used. If it was used in the sequence, i do can send it to my sequencer, but all settings done with the 16 lvls are NOT recorded and the sequence sounds like sh**. Also settings done by the note variation slider like decay are NOT transmitted. But if i tune sounds in the Program menu, these tuning (and decay etc.) settings ARE transmitted. So I always have to remember which pads in 16 lvls I used, stop 16 lvls, and put the same sound on some pads and tune them in program menu to achieve what i want. But there must be a way to send the 16 Lvls data directly to the sequencer.
I spent days and nights trying to solve my problem, but never did it. Maybe some of you could help.

i had the same problem as you and i fix it ! I assume that you already set your mpc as an extern instrument on cubase...
Go to File>Preferences>midi>midi filter and enable all parameters both in recording and thru for all channels that's it !

Enjoy !

16 Level parameters are MPC only. There is no MIDI signal of that parameter. For example. If you use the 16level on tuning the pad won't play different MIDI notes. Instead of that every pad represent a different TUNE value and the TUNE parameter is MPC intern only. You can see the different TUNE vaules when you are in step edit.
