Setting mono input to both left and right channels?

So I have an 8 channel Moukey mixer.
My Argon8 and Blofeld both output stereo and so I've set up my audio channel as 1/2 IN / 1/2 OUT. All good.

I just added a Neutron to the setup. That outputs mono so audio only comes out the left channel. How can I get my MPC to output that 1 channel input, to 2 channel output, specifically without affecting my stereo synths?

I feel like I've asked this before but the search system here assures me I haven't (but apologies if I have!).

EDIT: I'm using a mono jack from Neutron to channel 4 of mixer but oddly I have to tell my Moukey that channels 4&8 are a stereo pair otherwise the audio volume is insanely quiet.

Analogue mixer going into a FocusRite Scarlett that I'm using as my interface. MPC configured to use the scarlett as the intrface.

Which Scarlett?

Edit, I'm guessing the 2i2, but I'm not sure why you would, as it's the same number of ins, and the scarlett has been unstable for some. But if you have a stereo mix coming out of the mixer and a channel stuck on the left because it's been mixed that way, the issue is with the mixer, not the MPC. So you could either a) make a splitter cable taking the mono out and splitting to dual mono and using both inputs ion the stereo in of the mixer (assuming it has no mono ins) or b) get a y cable with stereo at one end and the left and right split to two monos, and use the headphone instead on the line out.

What! This one? Doesn't pressing mono put it in mono?

I use the 2i2 because I use headphones and it has a 1/4" jack and a volume control on the front. It's been completely stable for me in all the time I've used it.

I just drew my signal path and realised the insanity of my request! Brain now functioning, I will split the Neutron signal into two before it goes into the mixer.

As a future plan, especially if you are intending on more synths without effects, could be to get something like the UMC1820. Then every synth can come into the MPC One on it's own channel, and you can apply effects to each one.

They have an adaptor that links 2 UMC1820's, but will both be recognized by the MPC as 1 interface?

He can split left and right by setting the input channels on his audio tracks. set one track to channel 1. set the other track to channel 2. there ya go. two mono inputs off the back of the mpc one.

I've not heard of that adapter, but as Ultros says, it has an ADAT port, and Behringer do an ADAT 8 in interface.

I don't think he'll need 16 inputs though. He has 2 stereo pairs and a mono. But if he buys more stereo synths, he'll eat them up pretty quick. The MPC providing effects for mono synth with no built in effects is so good, especially the amount on stuff analogue stuff behringer is knocking out

I've got 4 monos and a stereo going into mine, so I've just go 2 more inputs. It's making me think carefully about what I add next, which is probably a good thing

Thsnks for the info, but I wasn't asking for the OP, I just wanted to know if it's possible on the MPC/Force. On the Sweetwater page for the 1820 it says that it can be linked with a ADA8200 to give more inputs, but I don't know if both linked will work with Akai devices & if all the input types will be available, because the site just says it will add 8 ADAT inputs even though it the 8200 has 8 1/4 jack inputs as well or is that implied? I'll do more research on this later, but I just wanted to ask here.

Someone has confirmed on the Compliant USB thread that they had both running with no problems, but it wasn't on the force. Monotremata seems to have the ADA8200 on his shopping list, as he had one before. So I'd probably wait until he confirms before I took the gamble. (returning things isnt so easy hear) But I think I should avoid as 8 more inputs is going to be terrible for my Synth GAS.
