Hookers with Moog logo tattoos cost twice as much and seem like different people after five minutes. I think I prefer the more predictable, Akai-branded ones.

Of course, there are the chinese ones, but we don't talk about those. Somehow they always start fights.

I suspect we will see more moog vsts on the mpc standalone; I think this might be the most obvious likely impact on the mpc.

I assume we will see alot of cheaper & smaller moog products coming to market; as they seek to the moog more accessible to more people by lowering the price barrier.

As wild card idea for less likely possible outcome; maybe in the future we will see MPCs have have moog chips inside, so moog filters and oscilators being built into the MPC future flag ships.

As I recall the MPC 5000 came with hardware synths built in, maybe they will revisit this using moog technology in the future.

Well, its obvious that China's business model of serving a lot of customers as fast & cheap as possible is big part of the problem. The vicious price race to the bottom doesn't work well for every profession.

I notice that you're quick to clarify that it's a price race to the bottom.

Moog is famous for their bottom end, which explains, despite the price, their presence in the world of beatmaking. There has to be thickness in the bottom end.

Just ask Freddy Mercury, Sir Mixalot or Mystikal. They'll back me up on this.

LOL the Moogerfooger plugins are all on sale for $20 and under over at ADSR until August 1st. Grabbed the Ring Mod last night for $15.

The 'InMusic-ing of Moog' has already begun hahaha.

Maybe there will be a Step-Mother sequencer and a Hot Cousin saturation plugin.
