MPC live freezes for split second randomly during playback

Those sound come with the device & are easy to get for free, so they shouldn't mind if some idiot wants to sell it & they should have the recovery file easily available for people that need it or at least make the process easier. Also, make it clearer to what can & shouldn't be deleted. I got mines used & there's still some APC 40 files that never deleted, but I probably could that still on the internal drive. Is those safe to delete? But that's the point, we shouldn't have to deal with all this mess at this price point all because thier afraid of sound that most users don't even use getting stolen. Makes no damn sense no matter how you try to spin it.

If y'all delete the Internal files, Expect to have problems lol

The reason is because Akai owns the samples/data/restoration. MPC Forums is not affiliated with Akai, and does not have the legal right to distribute Akai's property. You need to contact Akai for access to it. We cannot just redistribute content from another company "because it is convenient". Go to the source. Akai has what you need.

Not trying to be a jerk or anything, we just get this question/request once a week or every other week.

Akai hosts all their content on open servers that do not require log in or authentication to download. The only thing you need to log in for is to get the links. If akai was so concerned with security of their content why would they leave them on servers that require no log in, publicly visible to the internet. Case in point check any download link and notice that its "http" not "https".

Akai doesnt *want* to deal with people, they literally give you and host links to the same files you have internally on your account what difference does it make in comparison to the restoration files? the only reason they hold them hostage is so that the hair-brains dont mix up the images and use them on the wrong units.

I highly doubt akai (inmusic) gives a rats ass if the expansions that come on the units are shared, those ones are pretty much free to a good home.

Thanks for the info but if it's something that always comes up every week than pin it to the main page.
I still think the way Akai went about this is dumb :smh:

Thanks for the link. Which is what the Mod should've provided instead of just saying no like a parent w/o no reason why. :lol:

The mod said no to posting the factory content, not to providing a link to MPC Tutor's explanation.

I agree that the way Akai is handling a lot of this is not appropriate, but that doesn't mean that this forum or the users here are required to pick up the slack.

I said the the mod should've posted a link of Tutor's explaining the reason why not to post.
