Assign cc to keygroup parameters

I’ve only just realised that you can’t assign a midi cc to keygroup parameters , other than volume , pan , send etc.
Why ffs?
Do they cripple it on purpose?

It's not that they crippled it, either on purpose or accidentally. The fact is that the NPC is, at its heart, a drum machine. Everything is oriented around individual pads, not around synthesizer programs. CiCi's can be routed to pad parameters. The key groups, are just glorified drum programs, and so they respond in the same way as drum programs to cc's.

Why not use a midi program for that?
