hi all.
does anyone connect their MPC to the SP404?
I’m wondering if you can connect the output of the MPC to the 404 to use the FX and if you would need to sync via midi for rhymthic fx?
Thanks!

The latency that he's talking about is really only on a handful of FX. In particular, the Cassette Sim, due to it needing to have enough content in the buffer to do it's FX magic.

just plug a usb to usb-c cable from mpc to the sp, the mpc will "see" the sp in the midi ports, activate the sync out, in the sp make sure in the settings it will listen to midi from usb, you're done. the sp syncs up perfectly and the bpm synced effects will work flawlessly. also if you put some loops on the sp and activate bpm sync they will play with the same bpm as the mpc. of course patterns too. as said, the latency is an issue only on cassette sim and backspin effect. the others are cool. it is really a cool way to spice things up and add a performative hands on layer to the mpc.
