I have the MPC X and enjoy it very much. I connect it to my stage piano (Kawai MP7 SE) and it kind of works OK, but I was hoping for better and closer integration between my keyboard and the virtual instruments I have on MPC X without having to reach for the MPC all of the time. Can someone tell me:
1) If I'm hoping for too much?
2) If I need a keyboard controller, which is recommended (49/61 full size or semi full size keys)
3) If I'll be able to control virtual instrument's parameters from the keyboard controller in standalone mode (I use standalone only. One primary reason for going MPC was that I don't wanna work with a PC in the creative processes).
Any help much appreciated.
PS: I did a search for this with no luck. If this has been discussed before (I would not be surprised) a link to that would be brilliant, ty.
