Akai MPC X should include basic needs such as:
1,Sequence start and stop with only one footswitch feature. ( till now (in 2.12 os)we should have to use two foot switch seperately;one for start and another for stop.)
2,programme copy to an empty one feature.
3, On Song mode, song copy to an empty song as a new one feature.
4, On song mode, Jumping into "End of the Sequence" function
5.Data scroll with + - switch.
6.Data Scroll with Navigation switch.
7, All Sequence & Songs Saving function.( now single sequence can only save :)

Will fall in deaf ears when posted here. At that point you need to commit and send your requests directly to AKAI.

Someone previously posted a message from Akai support where they said they were actively encouraging people to post feature suggestions here. I created a sticky topic for it specifically:

No offense, it's your website, but of course they'd say that, since it reduces the amount of issue tickets they'd actually have to process.

I maintain my statement. They have various official channels (Instagram,Youtube, twitter, Facebook, and their own websites). the only messages one can be sure someone parses (eventually) at AKAI is through their own issue form. So at least people should use that form directly even if when they post suggestions here. Most people never do that.

Support tickets usually add pressure to actually do something, because support ticket numbers, queue lengths, service response times etc. are usually used in performance reports, and they're displayed on systems people have to look at, because it's their job. They have something in their hands that they have to deal with in SOME WAY, even if it's only clicking delete or installing AI robots to handle the tickets. Whether you think it's a pleasant idea or not, it puts actual stress on people, stress they want to get rid of. But messages on this board do not pressure anyone to do anything, they can disregard the whole thing 100%, go home and get their salary.

There is no pressure to answer anything, because triage. But yes, someone actually needs to read those god damn messages to sort them by priority. "pleasant"? As long as the communication is respectful there is no issue with being "pleasant" whatsoever.

We wouldn't be mentioning any of these if AKAI actually had people involved on social media, like you know, community managers? Where are they now? AKAI used to have some. People shouldn't feel guilty of using the issue tickets for suggestions since AKAI isn't engaging with the community in good faith via other medium.

Keep in mind that just because they don't say they're watching this site & others don't mean that they're not. It's part of the way of the red ninja.

Think about if you had a gear company wouldn't you watch these sites?

Free honest feedback is priceless.

On the other hand with a ticket it's just you and so easier for them to answer that unfortunately your suggestion can't be implemented because of some vague technical issue. It should be posted publicly as well.

If I was the proud founder of an electronic music instrument business then yes.

If I was an executive in a major company aimed at buying out and shutting down competing actors or at best over commercialize and dumb down their brand after takeover then probably no.

True, but are you talking about InMusic or Akai?

Just because their on the same team, doesn't mean they like each other or don't have a different vision for what best for Akai.

Neither specifically but obviously InMusic more than Akai(or whatever is left of it, for which I have no clue).

No I agree.

No I meant no I agree. No referring to a negative:

You: "It doesn't mean..."

Me: No (I agree) it doesn't.

Not sure how 'Now I agree' would make sense in that context. I hadn't even had time to disagree first..

B-Wise wrote:No I agree is kind of a grammar mind ****, at least in this case

Not in spoken language. You wouldn't react if you had heard the tone of voice.
