So I need to go back to 32 bit xp sp2 or 3 really :o :o .. it can be don't but the money to invest in a few thousand who want it is not enough so we will just like we did in the 90's deal with it.. hopes and dreams come at another problem the sound which will be compromised..

So this week I tried the Mackie Onyx12 mixer with my MPC One. I waited a long time to get my hands on this one. Unfortunately, the MPC is reporting an error with code -22. Used the latest MPC firmware 2.12.1.

I’m going to try a few more things, but I’m afraid that I can’t get it to work, and it’ll be sent back. I was getting this for the many stereo channels and multitrack feature, and if the latter worked I would have ignored the few minor things I didn’t like.

I’ll probably look at the SSL Big Six next. I’m hesitant about the Midas M32R Live because of the company behind it. Any other suggestions for USB mixers that work with MPC standalone other than the Tascams or Cranborne?

Is it normal for previews to only be sent to outputs 1&2? I’ve tried various things but can’t get them coming through any other channels.

Using Tascam Model 12 with MPC One. Not a big deal as using 2 mono channels for the MPC frees up one of the stereo pairs, just thought it was a bit strange.

On the Force you can switch it but I don't remember where. Try the preferences.

On the Force the settings are found in Preference General settings. It should be the same for the MPC. I wish we had the option to audition samples to the end instead of just up to 30sec. Who thought that time limit was cool? :WTF:

Thanks, I honestly thought I had checked there but I missed it somehow. Exactly where you said it would be :worthy:

Cool. It's so much in these units that It's easy to miss things or see something, but don't know where. :hmmm:
With Akai, we got to slow down & take a mental know or a pic of where stuff is at & overtime you just know the ways of the Mysterious Red Ninja!

Confirmed on my MPC Live

Audio:
MOTU M6 input interface is recognized as Audio device and all 6 inputs work
Note: the motu needs its power supply because USB 2.0 does not provide enough to power it. Normally I would power it with USB C -> portable battery but you need the (only) usb going to the MPC.

MIDI:
Roland (Edirol) UM-880 8x8 Midi interface shows up with recognition of all 8 in's & out's

Been looking to get an interface so I gathered a list of ones mentioned in this thread and combined them with the list by Lefty De Vito on List of Working/Non Working Class Compliant USB Interfaces thread (https://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?p=1847252#p1847252).

Note that these are just gathered from around the forums and there are conflicting reports for several interfaces and some might not been tested thoroughly so take the info with a grain of salt. There is no guarantee something reported working is going to work for you as there might be several factors at play, such as hardware and/or firmware revisions.

I tried to add a link to the relevant forum message and assumed firmware version which they were tested with for every interface, but for those grabbed from Lefty's list, I just linked to his post so things might have changed since.

Hope this helps someone.

Can someone explain how you connect an mpc one to an ADA8200 and why the ADA8200 is on the list of working USB interfaces when it's adat only?
Can someone tell us which usb mixers work with at least 8 channels or more working independently not just a stereo out.
Thanks in advance

It is ADAT only so will not work on its own with an mpc. Connect it to an interface that works and it will add extra channels. (In my case umc1820 with ada8200 hanging off it)
