MPC Studio new project and MPC One not triggering

Hi, I open logic, new project, clik on the MPC icon, which loads studio
Nothing now happens on the MPC one itself, it sits there with empty project or user template

It USE to open a new project etc / coordinate with studio

What did i do wrong ?

Did you enter controller mode on your MPC One?

No idea, it didnt come up as an option when switching it on - perhaps thats the issue ?

Just tried to enter controller mode, says looking for computer, USB is definitely in

And now its working, put the USB cable into another four way to my mac, and it came up! so was the USB cable/ plugin that was at fault

why in da **** would u connect mpc studio controller to the mpc one and trigger the one via the studio , lmao

i swear some people just like convoluted workflows and midi chains for specific reason
