The black plastic mpc x screen cover with red also logo..

Anybody have one they want to sell? I just bought a mpc x and it didn't come with any of the accessories. I think the cover is the only thing I care about but no luck with seller.. before I contact Akai thought I would ask here if anybody wants to sell one? Thanks you guys.

Really nobody has one they want to sell? I literally see people throw them away in videos.. about with a decksaver that doesn't need the plastic screen cover?

There is a black plastic one that says Akai in red. You can see it in bolo SE review for instance.. I thought the felt one was a aftermarket thing from mpcstuff? Maybe they changed at some point, did your x come with the felt one?
My SE was supposed to come with the black plastic one.. for some reason Akai won't sell it seperatly.. it really bothers me but whatever.. I guess I will just get a decksaver. I don't want to return it over that, it is great otherwise. I guess I wouldn't use it much anyway.

I have seen unboxing videos with the plastic ones in the box. If you can find itt in the aftermarket I would love to know!

Honestly.. I guess I just realized every time I get a decksaver for something I have noticed that I just don't use them as much.. I know it sounds crazy, but it is just that extra step before turning it on that "sometimes" keeps me from turning it on.. it would be much easier to just take the screen cover off. I know I could buy the felt one but it was supposed to come with three plastic one so I paid for it and it was not cheap.. i want it so I can have it because it is supposed to come with it.. I guess it's is ocd.. idk.. since it is a SE I guess I feel it should have the cover. It is a lot of money I think to anyone..
Akai is actually being really cool now and they say they will send one after they come in, they were backordered so the person couldn't see it in the computer. I'm not sure why it didn't come with it but I'm happy they are gonna get me one.

Besides I'm working with a used Force with a Decksaver with black duck tape over it to block out the Pride light show when starting up the Force with it's screen & 64 pads Killing my late night vibe & vision

Ok.. back to hoping akai will come through..lol

The black plastic cover came with my MPC-X, it was in the bag with the getting started manual and cleaning cloth.

Yes they switched to black plastic from the velvet sheet with the elastic at some point I learned. They sent me a velvet one until the black plastic is back in stock. I still really want the plastic one.. I'm glad they have been cool about it, they can't cost much to make.
