I'm using mpc software on Windows, and although it's a pack I built myself,

Apparently import was possible this morning

However, for unknown reasons, after reinstalling the mpc software, the expansion pack cannot be imported.

please give me a solution

So this is something I've been dealing with more frequently. The problem used to be entirely related to XPN files that were distributed inside zip files. In Windows the default 'double click' action on a zip file opens up a virtual compressed folder and it's not possible to install the XPN this way as the MPC can't really see the XPN while it's still inside the zip file. The XPN has to be fully extracted to a location on the disk, and then dragged in.

However recently I am across two customers who had definitely extracted the XPN and they were still getting this problem in Windows (i.e. can't drag into the software as the cursor changes to a crossed red circle).

It seems to be related to their MPC Software installation requiring admin privileges to run. The workaround is to open the 'file browser', View > Browser > File Browser and navigate to where the XPN file is located on your disk. Make sure the ALL filter is enabled. Now double click or drag the XPN directly from the MPC File Browser.

I've recently updated by MPC software guide with this additional info:
