Since the most recent firmware update, the first lane is always record armed for me. It's annoying but try making sure the rec arm button at the bottom below the track selection button(s), before launching. I have to turn it off each project I open/start, even if I did it in the past.

my launch buttons are always triggering a record scenario eventhough rec arm and rec is turned off..

it happened so often that i, unintentionally recorded automations onto my audio clips over and over again, thinking my machine is bugging. I reloaded the clip freshly back into the set only to fall pray of the same unintended mess again. found out i can clear them automations out by shift/clear automation.(Low button 4)

later found out that shift /launch gets my scenes started now..

I think there's some rec options that deal with this. Hold the record button & press settings on the pop up menu it might in there or in the Preferences. I'll test on mines later, just letting you know that this isn't a universal thing. Look for something like press rec then clip :hmmm:
