Mpc one backup

I started saving one of my early projects to the internal memory. I want to fully back up all parts of the track. I've saved the project onto sd, but how do transfer all of the wave files over. It must be straight forward but I can't see it.

Then when I load from sd do I need to change default for where samples are loaded from so they come from ad and bot internal. Cheers

This is a mistake. Only save to sd, usb stick.

Saving a whole project saves everything in memory.
Find the cog wheel, uncheck hide folders, you will end up seeing project data folders and all your samples are in there.

This isn't the first time I suggest for somethings to be a sticky. I made this a suggestion last week. Which is why I said "This is another thing..." that didn't workout so well. Lamp basically said no & ended with DONE. So why don't YOU follow your own advice & YOU do it?:nod:

But this is something that shouldn't even have to be suggested. To me it's common sense to make a sticky thread for things that needs to be repeated often. Maybe there a good reason why they don't, but even so tell me that reason. I'd just hate having to repeat the same thing over & over to new members. At least send each new & maybe even all members a dm or email stating some important do's & don't's or whatever. May I didn't ask politely enough

That would be cool. Now, when it comes to people reading it, I did say it might be good reason why it hasn't happen & that was the main thing I was thinking, but I didn't what to say it, but whoop there it is.

New to MPC as of this week, so I’d like to ask… why not save projects to internal memory? The MPC One+ has 16GB, what else am I going to do with that? I apparently can’t install plug-ins to internal memory, which seems weird.

But why not projects?

You can’t access the built-in memory externally. So if you need to back it up, you’re pretty much SOL. You’ll need to load up each project from the internal memory individually, then re-save to an external hard drive, SSD, USB flash drive, or SD card.

Ok, I appreciate the explanation!

Other than that filling up your memory reportedly slows down your whole device. Other issues have popped up when deleting stuff there.
Just don’t touch internal memory and you‘ll be happy.
