Hello All, plugin licensing & workflow question

I'm looking to switch to the Akai Ecosystem, that will hopefully bridge the gap between the in-the-box way I've been working with and a full sound that transfers live better.

My initial questions are if I purchased both the MPC One + and the MPC Key 61 will I have access to all of the same plugins...? It seems the MPC Key comes with more, but I'm hoping I don't have to pay extra to use on the One +.

Could someone also explain the exporting or how they work in the box with the MPC then export to finish in the MPC2 software? I'm most interested in developing a seamless workflow between the hardware and a software DAW.

The license for the premium plugins that come with the MPC Key are valid for up to three devices (this would include the MPC Software). So yes, as long as your MPC One+ is registered in the same inMusic account, you'll be able to run the plugins in the Key, One+ and MPC Software.

You can export 'in the box' to audio files (either individual stems or a stereo mixdown), but if you just want to finish off in the MPC Software (where you can use VST plugins etc) simply save the project in your MPC, connect to your computer via 'Controller Mode' and load the project directly into the MPC Software. Just remember that some things won't transfer back to standalone (e.g. VSTs, using more than 8 audio tracks, submixes and internal synth plugins, different memory/CPU restrictions etc), so you should probably work with a copy of the original standalone project, just in case you ever need to go back.
