Finally got my live 2. For initial setup question.

Hi, finally got my gear all shipped. For the initial setup should I put the ssd in first or should we do the firmware setup process first etc? Wasn’t sure if there would be any conflicts if done either way. Brand new out box so whatever it ships with now is the version number.

Will do thanks, quick question, all the stuff that they have to download for the software end other then the firmware update, I can just throw all that on the ssd instead of integral correct? The firmware though I assume you wanna keep on integral similar to like a base form of windows and then everything else I’ll just load on the ssd?

As I keep hearing leave the internal drive alone, I'm wondering, is there a way to change the location the browser opens at? It always opens on the internal drive, which I never use, and the 5 bookmarks are for the internal drive, can they be changed at all? Seems pointless otherwise!

I wish there was 5 more folders shortcuts or maybe 16, 1 for each pad in a bank. But 5 is better than 0.

remember to put the "Synths" folder (the one containing all the "new" plugins, hype, solina, odissey etc...) in the root of your ssd.
