i gave you all the infos you needed, saying i intentionally left all things RAW means i did no gain staging on the Live mk1 nor on the 1000, i added infos on mixer channels (same channel same gain = no gain), and added that the 1000 is set on -6db with level knob fullly open, and the Live is set with level knob fully open. if you can't read or understand it's not my problem.
i must add that this method, being impossible to compare 1:1 two so different machines, is good enough exactly because what i'm saying is that in the rawest condition, the 1000 bangs harder without distortion and without any kind of treatment, internal or external, while on the Live i have to work harder to get similar (but always inferior, imho) results. it's not so hard to grasp.
I guess I could've been specific in what info you left out but you didn't answer this my last 2 questions:
-On the Live what's the vol levels in the program set to in the the places that can affect the volume like: the program, pad, layer, mixer, master/individual outputs levels? Without knowing this I can't do a emulate your Live settings on the my Force.
-Have all the sounds been normalized? This may or not be important, but I was try to consider anything that could affect the amplitude level. I could be wrong & will test it later, but samples seemed to be able to get louder when normalized on the Force vs when done on the 1k/2500. Maybe because of the higher bit depth.
If I'd know it was going to be a whole bunch back & forth just to get basic settings data, I wouldn't asks you. But since you'll be ignoring me I guess we won't go thru this again with each other at least
