How to deal with latency when recording external gear?

Hi!

I noticed that when I record my Elektron boxes into the Akai Force (triggering transport using midi out from Force) there is very slight delay after the record is done. Meaning that the actual recording starts few milliseconds after it should. Is there any automated way to deal with that kind of delay?

Is it the one and only way to do it?

I’m not doubting that but it seems to me that option to set the latency while recording would be the best solution, I assume it’s not possible?
