Best portable keyboard controller for MPC Live/One/X

Evening all,
I'm looking to pair up a keyboard controller with my Live, preferably small enough to throw in a backpack, but not so small that I struggle to play it. (I already have LPK wireless).
I'm looking to control the plugin synths on the Live.
Not looking at the MPK mini.
Have been looking at four:
MPK mini Plus
M-Audio Oxygen pro mini
Minilab 3
Komplete Kontrol M32
Would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations you might have.

I bought the MPK mini plus for pc, but as a bonus, it works great plugged into my live 2!excellent little keyboard in my limited experience.

I just got the keystep 37, very cool chord mode and strum feature..

I looked at the key step, was gonna go for it, then decided that I didn't like the ribbons for pitch and modulation! If it weren't for that little thing I'd have bought that instead. Ya listenin' Arturia? Lol

I dont know if its backpack friendly as mine stays on my desk, but I got the Novation LaunchKey 25 working great. Its only about two inches wider then my MPC Live, so it makes a nice pair in the center of my desk.

I almost bought one of the MPKs when I needed a controller (my old OG Oxygen8's encoders are all insane now), but I read way too many reviews about them falling apart and breaking like toys that I steered clear of them..

I have an MPK mini, I don't know if the + is any better, but I find the key action absolutely bloody shocking. Feels like something that Fisher Price would come up with. Of course it 'works' but it annoys me so much I tend to leave it gathering dust unless its absolutely essential that I need keys to play something.

The mini plus has great keys! Far better than novation's mininova!

You can always go a step further and get one of the Yamaha Refaces as a midi controller. Best part is you'll also have a pretty great sounding synth with you as well.

When one of the keys stops working (lower down, can’t remember which one off the top of my head) there are plenty of YouTube tutorials showing how to fix it. Seems very common, I still need to fix mine.

Otherwise a nice keyboard.

Not quite a keyboard, but I got a launchpad pro recently. Adds a powerful isometric notes mode, really slick chord mode and a 4 channel drum/melodic step sequencer with ability to change pattern directions, add random pitch and add probability to your MPC sequences.

Or just get the keystep which isn't much more expensive and you'll be getting firmware updates, great support, great build quality.
