MPC Key 61 MIDI Output (MIDI Cable)

Hey everyone,

I don't understand why I have no MIDI Output in standalone mode, but when I go to the "MIDI Control" menu the Keyboard is outputting MIDI signals just fine. Why is that?

If you wanna *trigger* a midi device in stand alone you must use a "midi program". Also in order for it to work properly you need to set up the channel in the "track view" screen... it's kinda weird because our first instinct is to try to set the channel in the main menu where we choose the midi program.

Not at the machine ATM, but AFAIK you can change the channel from MAIN mode. You just need to check the channel strip on the left, open it on the eye in the top left corner of the MAIN screen. Pages 129-130 of the manual show this.

(I checked the manual for 2.11.2, so the pages might be wrong.)

Check your cables.
