Currently when I have recorded notes into the clip and press SHIFT + 2X only the clip gets longer, content stay the same as before. How can I double the content too?

Press SHIFT + DOUBLE. It's an actual physical button below track selection button 3.

Is there a cheat sheet anywhere for the various button combinations on the Force? I'm new to the machine & it would be helpful.

Nice that I'm aware of, but I've been meaning to make one. Too many to remember. I wish they would let us use all those pads for different kinds of shortcuts.

Exactly! The Force has so much potential... So many things could be assigned to the physical buttons.
The fact that you can select notes in the clip using physical buttons but have to use the touchscreen to delete those when you have perfectly serviceable physical delete button is just weird.

There's supposed be some kind of logic where the Force is divided to two separate, independent sections: the upper part with the touch screen, and the lower part with the pads. I think it's supposed to be possible to do stuff with the upper part only, and the lower part only. The "design" isn't clean though, since at least the upper part's SHIFT button used with both upper and lower parts in button combinations like SHIFT+DOUBLE, and SHIFT+SAVE. And you'll need the arrow buttons to move the pad area around in the clip "space".
Editing MIDI clips with the touch screen is way more difficult than it has to be.
