Ok, I bought an Mpc X and I'm honestly struggling. I'm trying to add a second sample to a track, I record it, edit it and assign it to program 3, prog 1 has another sample, prog 2 has a kit. Everything is working but that second sample on prog tree just doesn't trigger? I'm dyslexic so the Manual is too linear for me and I can't get anything clear from the amazing amount of YouTube. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

You can choose program edit while on the program you want to add the sample to. if its pad 2 thats the culpret tap pad 2 and it will select that pad for editing. at this point you can add a sample and edit its boundaries and so on. there is a drop down list where you can choose from your sample pool. Might be volume related or velocity so have a snoop around in the settings of "program edit" once you have tapped pad 2 on the program in question.

It sounds like you're trying to play more than one program on a single track. You can't do that.

If its a loop you can play both on the same track by adding them to different pads on the same program, that's what I've done.
